This section of this Wikipedia article (as seen on 12 May 2021) highlights an important phenomenon that seems to be rarely discussed and rarely understood--namely, how anxiety can not only occur at the same time as apathy, but how anxiety can cause apathy.

While the above may be true, hyper-focus could potentially look like anxiety with apathy (without necessarily being either). I mean, if someone is totally fixated on something, people can think it looks like anxiety/worry/fear (especially if the observer is actually afraid of the subject matter), but they could be apathetic during their hyper-focus.
