I tasted the first ripe fruits, today. They seem kind of brownish, actually. The taste is amazing—very impressive; one of the best I've had. It's mostly balanced, but leaning toward sweet. It's earthy. The fruits are firm. They're not pear-shaped; they're plum-shaped. You want to let them ripen more than a little before eating. Anyway, it reminds me of a mix between how Cherokee Green Pear was in 2016 (but stronger) and Paul Robeson in 2015 (but a little milder).
Anyway, I definitely plan to grow it again, probably next year. The taste is comparable in my favor to that of the Cold Black Brandy tomato, this year.
